What is going on in Wisconsin?

It is being reported Supreme Court Justice David Prosser grabbed fellow justice Ann Walsh Bradley by the throat with both hands, this comes after in 2010, Prosser lashed out at Judge Abrahamson (Female) in a closed-doors meeting, calling her a "Total bitch" and threatening to "destroy" her.

In this latest incident Judge Prosser neither declined or admitted this took place, so I am not going to lay guilt on someone without knowing all the facts but if its not true, he should deny it, but this being the 2nd allegation, ignoring it shouldn't make it go away as I am sure he hopes will happen. The Capital Police and all other have also declined to confirm or deny this incident, that make this even more curious to watch.

If these allegations are true, he should be arrested, its one things to believe in what you want to do, its another thing to force it on someone by physical intimidation and force.Its understandable that emotions run high but if this is the end result for this Judge, he needs help and needs to be removed.

Of course my friends on the right will say this is the "Liberal Media" trying to take someone down, I simply would suggest that before they do that, let this play out because we should all be able to agree that no one likes a woman beater.

Rapture Mania

So come May 21st, after 6pm, the rapture will fall upon us. I am going to go ahead and call "bullshit" on this for a few reasons.

• The Cubs havent wont the world series yet
• I have tickets to pear jam in August.
• Harold Camping has been wrong before and I might be going out on a ledge here, but he just might be crazy.
• Judgment day would be October 21st, which 9 days before my Birthday and that would totally ruin it for me.

I personally feel a cleansing of the this earth would be a great thing, but I am going to go ahead and plan on cutting on the lawn on Sunday. Also...I copyright the "Rapture Mania" phrase.

A quick thought

I understand why people went to the streets to celebrate Bin Laden's death, I truly do, but do any of you recall the supporters of Bin Laden going to the streets to celebrate the deaths of 9-11? What is the difference between us now? I am glad the evil of Bin Laden is off this earth, but as a country, we scream to anyone that listens that we are a civilized, christian type people, what I saw last night, not so much. 

Celebrate his death, wave your American flag and chant USA USA, but when you are doing that, remember those who hate us have TV's also and with every wave of our flag, you are fanning a growing fire. 

Thank you to the brave men and woman of the military, thank you to President Bush for setting this in place and President Obama for continuing this fight, this had to happen and hopefully we are closer now to ending this war and bringing the brave soldiers home.

Newts perfect world.

Newt is at it again, changing his mind, wanting his supporters to put their heads in the sand while he continues his lies and flip-flopping. It wasn’t bad enough to try and impeach President Clinton for doing the same thing he was doing, except his wife was home battling cancer, this time he just outright lies about his stance on Libya. Apparently, the first statement never happened because if it did in Newts shallow mind, he then would have done the unacceptable, agreed with President Obama and we know that cannot happen with the Republicans.

Newt Gringrich was critical of President Obama 2 weeks ago for  not being more forceful in leading an international campaign to attack Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi's air defenses and assist rebels from defeat. Gingrich said the United States should tell Gadhafi "that slaughtering your own citizens is unacceptable and that we're intervening.”

But now, as if on cue:

"I would not have intervened," he said in an interview with NBC News in the morning. "I think there were a lot of other ways to affect Gadhafi. I think there are a lot of other allies in the region that we could have worked with. I would not have used American and European forces."

Libya is a no win situation for the President when it comes to the right, because if he didn’t do anything, they would be screaming that the world would see the USA as weak, now that he has, they are crying on cost, with the added bonus of being able to whine we are not taking the lead, a perfect world as the right see’s it.  

As far as Newt goes, his lies, hypocrisy and flip flopping shouldn’t be a surprise:

 Though he relentlessly pushes military spending and talks like a big time hawk, Gingrich avoided the Vietnam War through a combination of student and family favors.

During the House Banking scandal, when so many congressmen wrote rubber checks on Government money? Newt is betting you don’t, because he bounced over twenty himself. 

Newt loves to shove family values down the American peoples throat, but of course that doesn’t apply to him, unless one considers walking out on his cancer stricken wife and while she was recovering, visiting her with the sole purpose to discuss the divorce and then had to be taken to court to pay the monthly bills he was told to be pay. 

Newt is the reason why the right cannot be trusted, do as I say, not as I do and if that fails, hide behind God. If there was a person who defines dysfunctional, Newt would be it.
